Small but nice...

With about 50 habitants Einöd is a quite small district of Bad Colberg-Heldburg which is located in the south of Thuringia, 4 km away from the bavarian border. Where the Iron Curtain went through in former times you today fortunately find biotiopes and routes for horse back riding and walking.

Because of the favorable location popular places for excursions like Coburg, Bamberg, Würzburg or Nürnberg on the bavarian side as well as Meiningen, Erfurt, Eisenach or Suhl on the thuringian side are reachable in a reasonable distance.
